success removing Trogan.Startpage

Thanks to this thread, I seem to have had success removing the virus NAV detected as Trogan.Startpage. I am using XP Home:
1. Turned off System restore (My Computer>Properties)
2. Found what in my case was called lbcn.dll, size 35.5KB (I did a search and it was the only .dll file in Windows\System32 created on the day I was infected.)
3. Restarted in Safe Mode (Keep pressing F8 when PC starts to reboot)
4. Dragged the .dll from system32 folder to desktop
5. Deleted .dll by holding shift and pressing delete
6. Emptied Recycle Bin
7. Restarted PC in normal mode
8. Changed home page in IE9. When I pressed the “Search Button” in IE NAV detected something but fortunately the threat caused no ill effects
10. I was able to set the “Search Button” to use a normal engine11. Turned System Restore back on
Everything seems fine now. I have taken the following steps hoping they will help keep me out of trouble in the future:
1. Run NAV “Full System Scan”
2. Installed Windows updates including Service Pack2
3. Installed Zone Alarm Firewall
